And my man Phil Johnson was a Major League screw up. Oh. Oh, yeah. And a former coworker, Larry Taylor, he said, and I quote, he'd show up for work late or not at all. Everything he did, he screwed up. One of his neighbors, said that Phil Johnson, quote, just couldn't get anywhere in life. He was always talking about his disappointments and his job didn't pay good. It was always negative things. So See, usually, they talk to a neighbor, and they're like, he was just the nicest fella. Totally. Or else, like, you know, they were really bizarre. My salon and say that it's, like, this huge discount that they can get. But all the potential client has to do is just put down, like, 40, 50, maybe $85 to like as a deposit to hold their spot because the hairdresser is in such high demand. And, like, in a lot of places, that's not unusual. Like, when I go to get my haircut, they hold the credit card. Oh, really? Yeah. And then if I don't show, I get charged. Yeah. Holding a credit card, not being charged, that's one thing. But this, like But but paying a little juice to get a spot. And a lot of these scams, they prey on people who are looking for braiders because it's so expensive. And and time consuming. Yeah. And it's that is a crazy labor intensive art. And also that person's only gonna be able to work so much on that Saturday. You know what I mean? Or whatever day you have. And it's hours and hours and hours. They want their scheduling tight. And because it's so expensive, if you find out you can get a discount. Mhmm. So, like, the phony braider will promise us great price for top notch work. They'll send pictures of their work, and it's always just mind blowing. So The Mark gets sent a link to a scheduling website and they book a time. And the site looks legit and the address is to a real salon on there, like, the physical address, and it's always a nice salon. Mhmm. So then the mark has to send the deposit to the stylist, like, through Venmo or whatever. Yeah. And then Which seems legit because that's so common now. Yeah. Exactly. And then they show up at the appointment, and the owner of the salon and Who are you? I've never heard of you. You're not on the books. Uh-huh. I've never even heard of this stylist. Yeah. The mark tries to contact the stylist. No dice. It's like it's a small scale scam, but it's getting more and more prevalent. This is why you always have to take things from word-of-mouth. If you don't know someone who knows this scam or this person who's offering you the legitimate offer, then Yeah. Exactly. Don't do it. And so but there are bigger scammers, of course. Of course. For example, Tina Roberts, AKA the Black Widow. Oh. Right? It's a scary name. She was a con artist. Some called her the devil in disguise. Oh. Now with a name and a description like that, what did she do? I'm thinking she, steel scalps.
